Curious, I taste it, I fall in love. But when I try to buy it, I quickly discover a frustrating reality: it's either overpriced or downright bad.

My husband and I decided to dig deeper:

  • How to recognize a truly good matcha?
  • Can you find a top quality product without paying a fortune?

We then embark on an intense quest. We taste, we compare, we test dozens—then hundreds—of samples. Until we find THE producer: a Japanese artisan in Uji (the historic birthplace of green tea), who perpetuates ancestral methods with respect and passion.

  • Why is it more expensive than a classic tea?
    Because good matcha requires artisanal expertise: shading, hand-picking, ultra-fine sorting, slow stone grinding. It's long, it's meticulous—and it changes everything.
  • How to recognize a truly good matcha?
    Look: a deep green. Sense: a fresh, grassy scent. Taste: no bitterness, just velvety on the palate.
  • And what about caffeine?
    One cup = ~30 mg of caffeine (vs. ~100 mg for a coffee), but with L-theanine, you get a smooth, smooth energy hit, without spikes or crashes.
  • What are the benefits of matcha?
    100% antioxidants, fiber, L-theanine for concentration, detox chlorophyll, iron, calcium, beta-carotene... In short, a little concentrate of good vibes.
  • Do you still have stock?
